There are other tours and excursions available in the Chapada Diamantina region. A must-do is to go hiking through the highlands, which feature plateaus and valleys and many walking trails. We offer a full-day tour of Mucugezinho & Morro Pai Inacio. First, visit Mucugezinho, a beautiful ecological sanctuary with some waterfalls and natural swimming pools surrounded by exuberant flora. Continue to Poco do Diabo (the Devil’s Well), a big black lagoon. Next, explore the Cave Lapa Doce, the Cave Pratinha, an amazing flooded cave, and Lake Paratinha, with crystal clear waters, with an opportunity for bathing, relaxing and a picnic lunch. As the day winds down, hike up the Morro Pai Inacio, a beautiful tabletop mountain, where there are a variety of wild orchids and other exotic plants. From the top, experience the magnificent setting sun over the panoramic view of mountains and canyons. We also offer a tour of Poco Encantado (The Enchanted Well) and the Cave Azul (The Blue Cave), both of which are caves with gorgeous crystal-clear waters.
