This month’s review comes from Ravie and Rehana K. from South Africa, who traveled with SouthAmerica.travel in 2013 to São Paulo, Manaus & the Amazon Rainforest, Rio de Janeiro, the Iguassu Falls, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, and Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. I was somewhat nervous about the trip for the following reasons. I was based in South Africa and communicating via e-mail with a travel agent in South America some 8000 kilometres away.
It was not as though I could walk into a travel office and get all I needed. I was totally reliant on the e-mail communications and trust that all will be organised. I paid for all my flights, accommodation a
nd tours by credit card over secure internet sites linked to South America Travel. Clara Tort, whom I dealt with from the first enquiry I made about 12 to 18 months ago was always willing to respond to all the questions I asked.
From the 1st transfer from Sao Paulo international airport to the hotels, to the tours, to the domestic airports, to the ports and back to the international airport to fly back home was very very well organised. Clara definitely knew what she was doing. South America Travel is a reputable company and good to deal with.
Thank you [Clara] for all the arrangements. They were all in order and on time. You impressed me with the travel arrangements. We really enjoyed our trip to South America.
