South America Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is really important. At a minimum, you should ensure you are covered for trip and flight cancellation/disruption and medical care. Some countries require proof of travel insurance (including medical cover) to be shown on arrival or during the visa application process. Insurance is not included in our trip prices.

You may already have some coverage through a health insurance plan or perhaps insurance through your credit card provider. Check what you have already then you can see what you need to add. Pay careful attention to the details of policies, especially if you are trekking, visiting high altitude or remote areas, or planning adventurous activities.
