This is the home for the company headquarters of SouthAmerica.travel Seattle. The offices are located close to Westlake Center (top class dining and shopping) and the famous Pike Place Market. Pictured above is the grand entrance of the Securities Building, which was constructed in 1917 and was one of Seattle’s first and most ornate towers, coming in at 10 stories tall. The lobby has a beautifully tiled floor, marble columns and many other intricate design features. A huge effort to maintain the historic and stately appearance of the building has occurred over the past several decades as the structure nears its centennial anniversary. Stepping into the building and approaching the elevators can sometimes feel like going back in time to a previous era in the history of Seattle.
