How safe is Guyana?
On the whole, Guyana is a safe destination and the Guyanese people are welcoming. In the capital of Guyana – Georgetown, like in many cities, you should take some care, especially by not displaying jewelry or expensive watches. Outside of the capital, Guyana is very rural with friendly communities who enjoy meeting visitors.
