While you are traveling abroad, consider obtaining travel insurance and additional medical coverage. Travel insurance can be useful in case of trip cancellation, trip delays, and other unforeseen events. Medical coverage can be useful if your primary medical insurance plan does not cover you abroad, or is very limited for overseas travel.
