Itinerary

Day 1Arrival to La Rioja

Arrive in La Rioja and transfer to your hotel. Relax for the rest of the day, take a walk around the town and get ready to explore the area on the following day.

Day 2Visit Ischigualasto Provincial Park

Rise and shine early this morning and depart La Rioja at 7am. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to Ischigualasto Provincial Park on a 3-hour long tour with five stops along the way. Appreciate the amazing landscapes, unique rock formations and the striking red cliffs. In the afternoon, transfer to your hotel in the Villa Union and spend the rest of the day simply relaxing in the natural surroundings.

Day 3Excursion to Talampaya

Today it’s time to explore the beauty of Talampaya National Park. Choose between two different tour options. The most popular and traditional route is to visit the Canyon of Talampaya. Travel along the Talampaya River enclosed by the looming walls of the Grand Canyon where carved petroglyphs and weathered rock faces can be observed. In the afternoon, return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 4Departure

On your last day of the tour, enjoy breakfast at your hotel and make your way to the airport or bus terminal. Have a safe trip home or continue to your next adventure in Argentina or the rest of South America.
