Izabela Zielinska
Senior Travel Consultant
Izabela was born in Poland and has a European background, but a South American soul. As a multi-language speaker (English, Italian, Spanish) educated in international tourism, she decided to follow her dream and discover South America by listening to her inner voice that was always whispering your place is there. In the spirit of St. Augustine's words, the world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page, she started her South American adventure. She has visited extensively Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia. Izabela still has several destinations remaining on her list including Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia or staying in Ecocamp Patagonia to enjoy the spectacular view of Torres del Paine National Park.
Izabela fell in love with South America from the moment she first arrived in Buenos Aires. She admires the strong and full of life spirit of South American people, their diverse and rich culture and wonderful cuisine. She loves hiking, discovering remote, non touristic places like La Guajira in Colombia and seeing the authentic life of local people. Currently she lives in Colombia married to Colombian husband planning her next trips in South America. Her interests are: cuisine, nature, adventure activities like hiking, horseback riding, zip lining, kayaking. Wherever she has time off she tries to discover small villages of Colombia trying to convince others that Colombia is not anymore this unsafe place known for stereotypes like drugs and civil war but interesting, developing country that has a lot to offer when it comes to history, culture and nature.
