Hi Juliet,   We're back from Brazil and wanted to let you know we had a terrific time.  Thank you.   The Rio Mutum is beautiful! Food was delicious, our guide - Jamil - could not have taken better care of us, very friendly staff at the Pousada and best of all, fun animals on the grounds and terrific daily tours.  The Pantanal is paradise.   Both hotels in Rio were well located. The Astoria Palace is a nicer hotel, though if not taking a beachfront room, ask for a high floor. Otherwise you're looking at a brick wall rather than the mountains with a clear view of Corcovado! The Miramar is a good hotel located on the end of Copacabana closer to Ipanema, which I liked.  The staff is very nice and helpful. View from the roof pool is spectacular.   Again, thank you very much for all your help with the trip.  We will certainly recommend your services.   Best regards, Sonia
