Tye!
We had a great trip. You did a terrific job booking nice tours, lovely hotels, and pleasant guides. We especially enjoyed the Argentina side of Iguazu Falls as the weather was lovely, and the Wine Tasting and Tango show in Buenos Aires were top notch. The tour guide in Florianopolis was terrific - use him as much as you can! He really went out of his way to give us a nice day, and even stopped at a grocery store so we could bring a bottle of Cachaca home with us. The Uruguay trip was a zoo at the ferry loading, and we had torrential rain upon arrival, but it cleared up a bit in the afternoon for us to walk around the beautiful old city. So much nicer than visiting Montevideo I think! One suggestion there - let people know they need to stop at the tourist desk to find the English Tour Bus trip - we really didn't know what to do when we arrived but figured it out eventually. We were just so used to having folks at the terminals with our name on a sign it was a departure from the usual! All our guides were on time and very pleasant. It all went very smoothly. Dad did get to Paraguay as we insisted the guide take him. The actual crossing was only 1.5 hours so it easily worked into the allowed time The fireworks tonight were terrific and the balcony of the hotel had a great view for future reference! Happy new year!
Best, Tanya
