Here are a few highlights of our trip and a few tour guides who earned our special thanks:
Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge was the best Eco lodge we've ever stayed around the world. The location was perfect and the facilities were well maintained. The staff was very knowledgable, experienced and friendly. The food and drinks were fresh and delicious. Our days were filled with fun activities such as: the pink-dolphin feeding, night jungle tour, canoe ride in the Amazon, and fishing and boat tour of the Anavilhanas archipelago. They were awe striking and spectacular! Our tour guide, Joam Feitoza from the lodge, was very knowledgable about the Amazon jungle. We were so connected with nature through his personal experiences. It was an awesome and amazing experience! We have recommended this lodge to all of our family and friends who are interested in the Amazon tours.
Iguazu Falls are spectacular! The Belmond Hotel Das Cataratas was very classy and elegant, perfectly located in front of the falls. Our tour guide, Joao Celso was very knowledgeable about the wild life in the region. He took us through the walking tours on Argentina and Brazil sides, recommended us for the boat tour up and close to the falls (awesome and exhilarating), an evening of dinner and Samba show at Rafain and a visit to the beautiful Bird Park. We even managed to have a nice Feijoada lunch before our departure! Joao is an experienced guide in the area.rn
