In October-November 2013 we visited four countries (Ecuador, Peru, Brasil and Argentina) and did have a fabulous time. We started planning our trip a year before the actual dates, since our previous experience with other travel agencies revealed that it needed a lot of time. Imagine our surprise when slightly over a month we contacted Christina Schranz for the first time the itinerary was ready. And it was 90% close to the final one! Moreover, Christina managed to meet our wish to have three cruises (two 4-day ones in Galapagos and Amazonas and 11-day one to Antarctica that followed our South America trip). Though our itinerary was rather tough (18 flights in about 40 days and no time for rest and relaxation between sightseeing tours), everything or just everything proceeded flawlessly. Accommodation was always great as well as the guides that 'handed' us over from one to another smoothly and without any problems. The only negative impression of the whole tour was in Cuzco, where the local agent failed to book Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu included into itinerary that spoiled somehow our stay there. Nevertheless we managed to complete the program using another train, though not that perfect as the first one, while the city of Cuzco and its surroundings became one of our favorite places. It is difficult to name the most interesting events during the whole tour ! everything provided great impression starting from Galapagos Islands to mysterious Peru (our guide in Lima was simply beyond any expectations!) and, in particular, Iguassu Falls. We spent a wonderful time in South America and have already recommended SouthAmerica.travel to several friends. Special thanks to Christina whose patience and guidance throughout the trip were outstanding!
