Dear Sirs, Compliments of the Season and wishes for another wonderful year of providing good travel opportunities for people intending to travel to South America. I am from Singapore and trawled the web looking for reviews regarding travel to Patagonia and chanced upon your website and emailed you my requirements for travel in November. Thomas Manchester replied to my email and was most knowledgeable. He even tailor made a tour package as I’d requested to include Rapa Nui and as I’d been to Brazil before did not wish to spend too many days there. My sister and I had the most enjoyable time. It was, without a doubt, one of my better trips. My reasons for this 1. I was using a company I was not familiar with, yet every query I had was answered factually and promptly by Mr. Manchester. 2. Mr. Manchester even ensured that I knew when he’d be traveling so that I’d not be in a position whereby my emails would not be answered. 3. Importantly, our actual tour was so synced with the itinerary that Mr. Manchester had put together. Where it said we’d be met, we were not at all disappointed and on every occasion when we reached our destination, not once did we have to frantically look around for our tour guide. They were always there ahead of us, except in Santiago but then I realized that we were to spend a night at Holiday Inn Santiago airport hotel and it was a breeze to get from the airport to the hotel, less than a stone’s throw away and reception at the Hotel had all our details. Which explained the need not to have been met. 4. The clincher, when we were leaving Buenos Aires for Usuhaia, our flight was canceled and being the very first leg of our journey, you can imagine our anxiety, especially as it was just us two, but lo and behold my phone “pinged” and there was a WhatsApp message from FS Turismo, Buenos Aires to assure us they were aware of the flight cancellation and would be in contact to guide us as to what to do next. Again seamless, we got a flight out the following day and a Mr. Nicolas assured me that we’d be in time for our tour the next day and even if delayed, he’d help work out an alternative. We surely felt comforted and relieved. All in all, a truly memorable trip, a good itinerary that met all the locations I had mentioned I’d want to cover and beautiful hotels – all of them clean and the staff most friendly and approachable. Special thanks for putting us up at Hanga Roa Eco Village and Spa, (most scenic and magnificent. Another nice thing, on Easter Island, our tour guide Noi was a true blue 3rd generation Rapa Nuian and went the extra mile when she detoured to show us the chicken coops (stone ones) near Rano Raraku (Hanga Kioe), not part of our itinerary. Thank you, South America Travel. We will use your company again for our next travel to Bolivia.
