Annica Gaither found her way to SouthAmerica.travel in 2009 after graduating from Washington State University in International Business. After college, she moved to Buenos Aires on a whim, and loved it so much she stayed. She worked at SouthAmerica.travel for 5 years before going on a 3-year hiatus. Now she has been back since 2017 and more excited than ever! She loves helping people plan their dream trips, and particularly likes customizing tours for train enthusiasts, wine lovers, birdwatchers, and farmers, and more! She also enjoys the camaraderie working at SouthAmerica.travel and having the freedom to travel the world.
She has traveled to almost 40 countries, and loves South American wines, markets, learning about new hotels, new things to do in each destination, adventure tours, trying local foods, and shopping. She loves nature and seeing wildlife in their native habitat. She has cruised the Galapagos, done safari in Africa, and next on her list of wildlife hotspots, the Amazon! In her free time, you can find Annica with her identical twin daughters, walking her two adorable pugs, gardening, exercising, and of course, traveling!
