Hi Rebecca,
We had one of the most memorable trips of our lives. Thank you for all your efforts in making this trip a memorable one. Everything went well as far as logistics and arrangements. Airlines were on time and help provided for transfers and check in was effortless because of the great staff. Hotels and lodges were first rate, that provided for great comfort with long and hectic travel. It is difficult to compare the hotels; all them were unique in their character and old world charm. Most unique experience was Palace De Inkas in Cusco, Peru. This is an amazing hotel "seen to be believed". Anavilhanas lodge was amazing especially to have that kind of creature comforts in the heart of Amazon. Copacabana Palace in Rio was wonderful. In Iguassu falls, Das Cataratas was equally great, espcially its location and facilities. Another great experience was Hiram Bingham train journey to Machu Picchu. It was the most exciting and enjoyable train ride my wife Bharati and I have ever had. Guides were knowledgable, eager to help and courteous. Rob at Anavilhanas lodge was great.
