I have used SouthAmerica.travel for 2 years in a row and they are fantastic! I tend to book my trips only 4-6 weeks before my departure, and they were not only able to completely accommodate me, but took all the stress of planning off of me.
My first trip last year to Ecuador was seamless. Our guide and driver, Mauricio, spoke perfect English, was knowledgeable and was punctual. The hotels were all very nice, and we stayed at some big names and other boutique locations. Those were a real gem!
This year we did the Wonders of South America trip. Our flight to Lima was canceled due to mechanical problems, causing us to miss our first day, but the company diligently worked to get us to Machu Picchu on time on our second day and rearranged our Cuzco/Sacred Valley itineraries to fit in as much as we could in one day. Our guide, Melissa, was extremely knowledgeable! After we experienced a poor guide in Iguazú Falls, they dealt with the problem very quickly and efficiently, and we were pleased with the outcome. Our guide and driver in Rio de Janeiro, Renato, was wonderful!
