It is my opinion that the crucial test in selecting a travel service comes after looking at the quality of presentation and content of the competitors' websites, when the individual with whom you will interact contacts you in response to your inquiry on the selected website. The test is whether the representative seems sincerely interested in understanding your travel interest and preferences. SouthAmerica.travel's Adam Haynie took as much time as was needed to provide guidance and answer questions - by email, as I preferred - and was attentive in suggesting alternatives for our consideration. He honestly shared his opinions on places and activities, which I find of great value in making such travel choices. He patiently worked through plans for our ideas, and provided important advice for restraint when needed, (as where we were adding in a bit too much for the scope of one area of our planned travel), and cheerfully did requested "fine tuning" on the itinerary. He did quite well, and is a credit to your company.
